The biennial congresses of the ISBE are the largest gatherings of behavioral ecologists worldwide. We anticipate 1000-1100 participants coming from all continents. Because this research field overlaps so many other disciplines, behavioral ecologists are interested in hardware, software, books, and journals that span animal behavior, evolution, ecology, physics, chemistry, animal physiology, genetics, neurobiology, acoustics, development, psychology, anthropology, statistics, and the philosophy of science. We invite vendors to exhibit and showcase their products during the congress. There is ample space for at least 30 exhibitor booths, which will surround the poster exhibition area in Barton Hall. Coffee breaks and lunches will also be located in Barton, giving the participating scientists ample opportunity to view the exhibitor displays. Exhibitors will be honored as sponsors, as the fees will be used to provide drinks and appetizers during the three poster sessions. We offer two booth sizes:
For a fee of $900, the exhibitor will receive:
For a fee of $1,800, the exhibitor will receive:
All exhibitors, including those who earlier indicated their intention to attend, should register now through the conference registration webpage. Select the "Exhibitor" registration class, and then the desired booth size. An additional fee will be charged for an electric hookup to cover our electrician's charges. Payment can be made by credit card or invoice. The attending exhibitor will have the option to obtain housing and meals in the North Campus residence halls, and to add accompanying persons at the same rate as for congress participants. The booth rental company, Great Lakes Events, will send forms for ordering the tables, chairs, easels, etc. needed for the exhibit; exhibitors will pay the rental costs for these items directly to Great Lakes Events. The registration confirmation email will contain instructions for shipping leaflet ads for the conference bag and any other materials.
Booths, along with tables and chairs, will be delivered to Barton Hall on Friday Aug. 8, and exhibitors can move in any time on Saturday Aug. 9. Barton Hall will be locked at 10 pm each evening throughout the meeting, and monitored during the nighttime by security guards. Exhibit materials should be removed by noon on Friday Aug. 15.
